This is a social event for our long-standing QCBC members. If you‘ve been a club member for 20+ years, this event is for you.
Come out and mingle with other members whom you may have ridden with on TOMRV, RAGBRAI, or perhaps the Heartland Century. Visit with others you may have volunteered with at The Criterium, TOMRV, RAGBRAI, and/or the Heartland.
This is also a time during which you can get help on navigating the QCBC website offered through Club Express. This site features our website, membership database, and event calendar. Help will be provided on renewing your membership, registering for a ride or event, and accessing the membership directory and-or monthly issues of the newsletter.

The Ride of Silence is held in North America and rolls across the globe. The Ride of Silence is a free ride that asks cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph, wear helmets, follow the rules of the road and remain silent during the ride. The ride, which is held during National Bike Month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to public roadways. Cyclists take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often is not aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.
