RAGBRAI LI Charter service july 20, 2024 - CLOSED
The QCBC RAGBRAI Charter Service is available for our Members and Guests needing transportation services with the longest standing RAGBRAI charter provider. The Quad Cities Bicycle Club is a RAGBRAI Legacy Charter and the only charter to service all fifty (50) previous events.
We will be providing our Full Service RAGBRAI Charter once again in 2024 - FREE weeklong parking at our Quad Cities Headquarters, Bus Out from Bettendorf to the starting town on Saturday July 20th, our award-winning weeklong camp/baggage support then Bus Back service from the ending town to the Quad Cities on Saturday July 27th.
The QCBC Charter Services are available for both club members and non-members.
NOTE, there are no service fees for club members when registering for their charter or any club event through our Club Express online services. Non-members and members alike pay the same amount for our services except the non-members would be charged service fees above the charter pricing. If you join the QCBC charter, you will save a few bucks by being a member.
Our 2024 Charter Registration opens the weekend of December 01st. You must be an official TAG applicant in order to use any of the QCBC charter services. Paid in Full reservations are being accepted with proof of your wristband purchase. If you have yet to receive your weeklong TAG number when you register with us, you will need to forward that information after obtaining your official notification from RAGBRAI on or about June 01. There are no exceptions, you must be registered with RAGBRAI.
The Quad Cities Bicycle Club Charter provides quiet/family friendly campsites. Our reserved settlements for the week include onsite shower service (exclusive for our camp) with your charter selection, complimentary non-alcoholic cold beverages, several multi-tier charging stations, floor pumps, basic tools and our own private, portable flush toilets in-camp at each overnight town.
Our charter members and guests are far from being local. During our 2023 charter we hosted 425 RAGBRAI cyclists from forty-one (41) different states, providences and territories including Washington D.C. and Canada. RAGBRAI 2023 brought us a record 181 individuals who chose the Quad Cities Bicycle Club Charter Service to experience their very first RAGBRAI week with us.
Entering our 51st year as weeklong hosts, the Quad Cities Bicycle Club Charter Service will once again begin and end in the Quad Cities. Leave your vehicle in our local complimentary parking area and enjoy your “car free” vacation knowing you do not have to hassle with paying for parking at either the beginning or ending towns. We’ll then transport you and your gear back to the Quad Cities where you will have your choice of three (3) interstates to take you back home. If you are flying in, arrange your flights with our own Quad City International Airport (MLI).
If you’re embarking on your first weeklong cycling tour, it is best to use an experienced charter service so why not let us handle the daily details for you? We’ll provide this service for you at costs below your budget. If you are joining us alone or with a group, you will feel welcome in our charter knowing that our veteran crew and cyclists will be looking out for you. Through our own unique wrist bands, you’ll be able to recognize fellow QCBC charter guests out on the road, always willing to lend a hand, inner tube or a smile to make your vacation with us a calendar event for years to come.
