Iowa's Ride Charter Service July 11, 2020                    RAGBRAI XLVIII Charter service july 18, 2020

The QCBC Charter Service is available for those needing transportation services with one of the longest standing charter providers.

We are pleased to announce that in 2020 we will be providing you with two (2) different charters to choose from or the opportunity to ride both of them back to back.

The QCBC Charter Service will be conducting our full service, week-long charter for Iowa’s Ride 2020. Transport from the end of Iowa’s Ride to the start of RAGBRAI will be available FREE OF CHARGE to our registered week-long Iowa's Ride members or a $50 fee for all others. We will be providing Bus Out to LeMars on Saturday July 18th connecting with RBBC for the week’s camp/baggage support then providing our Bus Back service from Clinton to Bettendorf for RAGBRAI XLVIII.

The QCBC Charter Services are available for our club members only. Renew your membership or become a member of our bicycle club first and foremost. NOTE, there are no service fees for our club members when registering their charter through our new Club Express online services.

You must be an official TAG applicant in order to use any of the QCBC charter services. Paid in Full reservations are being accepted with proof of your wristband purchase. If you have yet to receive your weeklong TAG number when you register with us, you will need to forward that information after obtaining your official notification.

The Quad Cities Bicycle Club Charter provides quiet/family friendly campsites. Our reserved settlements for the week include cold beverages for sale, several multi-tier charging stations, floor pumps, basic tools and our own private, portable sanitation units (KYBOS) in-camp at each overnight town. Our charter maximum is 350 cyclists.

Our charter members and guests are far from being local. Last summer we hosted cyclists from thirty-two (32) different states plus ten (10) members of the Toronto, Ontario based Oshawa Cycling Club and two more foreign national from Great Britain. We were also honored to host seventy-three (73) first timers in 2019.

Entering our 48th year as weeklong hosts, the Quad Cities Bicycle Club Charter Service will once again begin and end in the Quad Cities. Leave your vehicle in our local complimentary covered parking area and enjoy your “car free” vacation knowing you do not have to hassle with finding parking at either the beginning or ending towns. We’ll then transport you and your gear back to the Quad Cities where you will have your choice of three (3) interstates to take you back home. If you are flying in, our host hotel provides free transportation from our own Quad City International Airport (MLI).

If you’re embarking on your first weeklong cycling tour, it is best to use an experienced charter service so why not let us handle the daily details for you? We’ll provide this service for you at costs well below your budget. If you are joining us alone or with a group, you will feel welcome in our charter knowing that our veteran crew and cyclists will be looking out for you. Through our own unique wrist bands, you’ll be able to recognize fellow QCBC charter guests out on the road, always willing to lend a hand, inner tube or a smile to make your vacation with us a calendar event for years to come.

Welcome all first responders, veteran and active military personnel - THANK YOU for your service.

Please click on the above active links (left side) and read the instructions in their entirety before registering.
