The Prairie Burn 100 is a gravel cycling event and music fest based in Grinnell, Iowa. In its inaugural year, 161 riders participated in the event, helping to grow the sport and gain exposure to our new ride. Attendees can ride a 25, 50, or 100-mile loop and enjoy local entertainment, food and beverages before and after the event. It’s an experience aimed at the novice to the pro and an opportunity for the community of Grinnell to welcome visitors from across the country (and around the world, too!).

Starting from Orion, IL. The course is over rolling hills on very lightly traveled country roads. Route goes east from Orion and then south through Cambridge. Route turns west and passes through Andover and Lynn Center before returning to Orion. This is over the much of last years route but has been reversed. Last year this race saw some real competition and a little blood. This years race promises to be evern better. Registration is 5:45-6:15. Race starts at 6:30 Free to QCBC members, $5.00 to non-members. Find a route map at Mapmyride under title "QCBC Road Race Orion"
