What is this?
Inviting the Cycling Community to come out and show Davenport support for the Proclamation.
On Wednesday May 1st, at 5:30 pm the Mayor and City Council members will publish a proclamation for Bicycle Safety in Davenport.
We have asked all the bicycle clubs and cycling groups to be present for the reading of the proclamation. It is important to show the leadership of Davenport that pedestrian and bicycle safety is paramount.
Jessica Noles initiated this event. Her good friend Gage Williams was killed in a bicycle – truck accident March 12th. Jessica has pushed the city to improve bicycle safety in Davenport as well as in the other Quad Cities communities.
We will rally outside of the council chambers prior to the event.
