Here's fun looking lightly supported ride out of North Aurora, IL. It's called "Pastry-Bike-Pastry" and features water and donuts at the rest stops. 100, 65, 50, or 25 mile routes of mixed terrain cycling adventures. Some sections are paved, others are gravel. Registration cut off is April 30th. Day of ride registration is not allowed. 8am start time for 100 milers, the rest start at 9am. 40-dollar registration fee. 200-300 riders allowed.
