What is this?
This Saturday’s ride will leave at 9:00 (coffee & rolls after 8:00) from my house in Clinton, 2701 Willadsen Drive. Come up the driveway a bit & park on the grass on the right side. The ride will be 51 miles in a clockwise loop around Morrison Illinois on blacktop roads. If the legs (after last night’s Wednesday ride) are willing I will ride the route Thursday evening and post to Strava. A rest stop is planned at the 31-mile point at a nice Phillips 66 just south of town. I’m planning on a A-B style ride, though there are 3 KOM’s to hammer on for those looking for that. An afternoon ride to Dewitt returning though Charlotte/Goose Lake can happen for those wanting to reach 100 miles on the day. Warm temps and light winds are forecasted. Hope you can join me. Joe Buikema
Group “B”
17-20 mph.
Riders in this group should be familiar with drafting and be able to actively participate in the pace line. These rides are normally “drop rides” with speeds of 20+ mph at times. This group tends to be a more intense ride over a shorter period than C group. Riders in this group normally ride daily.
