Members,
After consulting with Mark Doeckel (Club Ride Director) we have decided that no club rides will be scheduled prior to April 18th due to the corona virus. Those rides currently on the web calendar will be cancelled.

A decision has not been made regarding the rides scheduled in conjunction with Spring into Cycling. We are awaiting a decision by Dean/Deb Mathias regarding the Spring into Cycling event.

The TOMRV team is closely monitoring the situation and the impact for the June event. Registrations are still accepting applications and are continuing the planning.
We will evaluate after April 1st as to status of club rides scheduled after April 18th. We encourage club members to continue to ride but not as a club group event.

What other cycling organizations are doing:
Ride Illinois – recommend group rides be canceled and cyclist ride individually
Rails to Trails – in conversations over the weekend with the VP of comm

The Quad Cities Bicycle Club (QCBC) invites you to the Tour of the Heartland—a scenic cycling adventure through the Illinois countryside with purpose and community at its core.

📍 Location: Geneseo Brewing Company, Geneseo, IL
📅 Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
🕖 Course Opens: 7:00 AM | Support Ends: 4:30 PM
🎶 Post-Ride Fun: Lunch & live music at the brewery!

Proceeds benefit the SEAL Legacy Foundation, supporting veterans and their families. Ride for a cause and make every mile matter.

🚴 Choose Your Challenge
Pick one or ride all four 25-mile loops—each loop starts and ends at a central hub with a fully stocked SAG station. You decide your distance!
