Route:
- Day 1: Two starting locations, Bettendorf (long route) and Goose Lake (short route). The long route from Bettendorf covers approximately 108 miles to Dubuque, Iowa, an all-Iowa route this year due to road and bridge construction. The shorter route starts at Goose Lake, IA, and is approximately 72 miles.
- Day 2: 95-mile return leg to Bettendorf, Iowa (with a century loop available) or opt for the shorter route stopping in Goose Lake, Iowa which is about 52 miles. Day 2 riding is all in Iowa.

Well-stocked with trail mix, fresh fruit, peanut butter sandwiches, and more. There is a lunch stop in Bellevue, Iowa which will include sandwiches.
Day 2 Highlights:
- Depart: Dubuque, IA, and return to your destination of choice, either Bettendorf or Goose Lake.
- Route: Gradual climbs out of Dubuque through the Mines of Spain, continuing south along the Great Mississippi Road with a few climbs and downhills, and ridgetop riding with spectacular views of the Mississippi River Valley and a long coast into Bellevue. From Bellevue, you climb out of the valley into scenic rolling terrain and cross the Maquoketa river into Spragueville for a rest stop. Then south into more gently rolling terrain to Goose Lake and back to Davenport.
The return route to Goose Lake is approximately 52 miles. The return route to Bettendorf is 95 miles with an extra 5 mile loop for those who want to ride a century.
