Bikes, great benefit, good food and plenty of camaraderie!

You don’t want to miss the Tour of the Heartland ride on Saturday, Sept 13th, 2025. The ride consists of four “clover leaf loops” leaving from and returning to the Geneseo Brewing Company in beautiful downtown Geneseo, Illinois.

Heart 1

Riders can depart beginning at 7 a.m., with SAG support available through 5 p.m.  The Tour of the Heartland offers those who sign up for the ride the option of taking four different loops of approximately 25 miles. Each loop winds through paved country roads in and around Geneseo. You can take one loop for 25 miles, two for 50 miles, three for 75 miles, and – if you’re up to the challenge – take all four and complete a full century.

New this year will be the option to participate in two different “no drop” rides where you can get to know your fellow riders along the way.  A “Ride with the President” will be led by QCBC President Tina Anderson around one loop at a pace of 12 to 15 miles per hour. There will also be a faster paced loop ride. Both rides will begin at 8 a.m.

Along with well-stocked SAG stops at the beginning and end of each route, Heartland riders will enjoy a hot lunch with dessert served at Geneseo Brewing Company beginning at noon. Lunch will be accompanied by live music provided by “TAG – the Dynamic Duo” at GBC’s outdoor patio during the afternoon.

Register Heartland Tour - 9/13/2025        Fee:   $70 for QCBC Members    $75 for non-Members

You need not be a QCBC member to access the club calendar; however, you must be logged in as a member to get the $5 discount.

A portion of each registration at the "Heartland" goes to support the local chapter of the Seal Family Legacy.  If you aren't familiar with the Seal Family Legacy, the following is a brief description of the organization.

SEAL Family Legacy is a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit organization raising awareness for service men/women who died serving our country and have left their children behind. Our goal is to ensure that the fallen are not forgotten, that their families know that we support them, and that the children left behind are financially supported through a large financial donation, and that they know they have their own legacy and their own future to seek out and pursue. Each year, we select a minimum of one SEAL Gold Star family and one other military branch Gold Star family. All profits are donated to the children of the fallen.
