Join Kathy Ramp on a loop ride out of Oregon, IL. We will use the 39 mile Bison – Reagan – John Deere Loop. This route travels across the Rock River twice, past grasslands with free ranging bison, by the small historical village of Grand Detour – the pioneer home of John Deere where he invented the modern plow in 1837 and the Nachusa Grasslands with spectacular views. There will be some rolling hills on this route. Bring a change of clothes and join a group for an optional dinner after the ride. NOTE: contact Kathy regarding where to meet up to leave at 8am to drive to Oregon, the drive is slightly over an hour and we hope to be biking by 9:30am.
